American found dead in Pampanga
MANILA, Philippines—An American national was found dead inside his home in Pampanga, but police said Wednesday no indication of foul play was noted during investigation.
Scott Wade Tucker, 45, from West Kansas, Florida, USA, was found lifeless inside his rented home in the village of Calibutbut in Bacolor, Pampanga around 12:25 p.m. Tuesday, the Region III Provincial Police Office said.
A security guard of the subdivision reported to police that a seemingly rotting body could be smelled from the locked house of Tucker.
Police quoted the victim’s friend, Kenneth Pinn Norris, as saying that Tucker had been having hallucinations, saying he wanted to commit suicide through drug overdose.
Norris claimed that Tucker had also been taking several regulated drugs such as Oxycodone, valium, and morphine “to ease the pain he was experiencing.”
“I’m taking pills to kill myself but I’m not dying, so I’ll try again tonight,” Norris quoted Tucker as saying during his last conversation with him two weeks ago.
Article continues after this advertisementWhen investigators got inside the house, Tucker was found seated on a sofa at the living room.
“Initially, no foul play was noted. The place is not disarrayed, the valuable items inside the house were intact and in place,” police said, adding that Tucker’s body had been taken to a funeral parlor in Angeles City for autopsy and examination.
