MANILA, Philippines鈥擜cting Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao Governor Mujiv Hataman backed President Benigno Aquino III in the claim that there have been officials from the Arroyo administration who instigated the standoff in Sabah.
鈥淎ng tingin ko naman hindi magsasalita ang pangulo kung wala s鈥檡ang nasilip na dahilan (As I see it, the President won鈥檛 speak about the matter if he didn鈥檛 find any reason for it),鈥� Hataman said in an interview on Radyo Inquirer 990AM early Tuesday, adding that he has full trust in the President鈥檚 honesty.
鈥淪a aking pagkakakilala sa ating pangulo mula sa Kongreso hanggang sa palasyo, ito yung tipong tao na hindi marunong magsinungaling (From what I鈥檝e known about the President, from his days in Congress up to now in the palace, he is the type who won鈥檛 tell lies),鈥� Hataman said.
