5 of 18 Filipinos with COVID-19 in Shanghai discharged from facility

Five out of 18 Filipinos who contracted COVID-19 in Shanghai have already been discharged from a facility, a Philippine consul general there reported Wednesday.

MANILA, Philippines — Five out of 18 Filipinos who contracted COVID-19 in Shanghai have already been discharged from a facility, a Philippine consul general there reported Wednesday.

Philippine Consul General in Shanghai Josel Ignacio also said that no casualties .

“Sa kabutihang palad po, wala tayong casualty. Ang atin pong na-monitor ngayon na count, cumulative po, lahat po ito, 18 at natutuwa po kami na sa 18 po na ito, lima na po ang na-discharge, ang napalabas ng facility,” he said in a Laging Handa public briefing.

According to Ignacio, the needs of Filipinos in Shanghai are directed to authorities for the latter to address.
