MANILA, Philippines — A pregnant overseas Filipino worker (OFW) tested positive for the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) after returning to Macau from the Philippines, an official from the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) said.

“A pregnant OFW returning to Macau from a vacation in PH was diagnosed as [COVID]-positive,” DFA Undersecretary Brigido Dulay wrote on Twitter on Tuesday.

Citing information from the Philippine Consulate General in Macau, Dulay said the pregnant OFW “is the only active [COVID-19] case in Macau at present.”
