/ 04:00 AM May 30, 2020

A woman from Pateros has asked the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) and the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration for help to bring home the remains of an overseas Filipino worker (OFW) in Saudi Arabia.

Jenalyn Siquig said her partner Jeffrey Yape died in Riyadh on May 21.

Yape, who worked at the Alumatec Aluminum Manufacturers Co. Ltd. allegedly died due to cardiac arrest while sleeping.

A video circulating on Facebook captured an unconscious Yape being carried to a pickup that would bring him to a hospital. —Jodee A. Agoncillo
