Globe provides free internet connection, Libreng Tawag and Charging amid Taal Volcano explosion

Globe is providing free and unlimited GoWiFi internet connection in all four terminals of the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) and select malls in Laguna, Cavite and Batangas to give those affected by the ongoing Taal Volcano explosion an opportunity to communicate with their family and friends.

At the same time, the company has set up a Libreng Tawag and Charging station at Barangay Amuyong Covered Court in Tagaytay Nasugbu Road, Alfonso, Cavite from January 13-16, 9 am – 6 pm.  More Libreng Tawag and Charging centers will be set up as the need arises.

“In incidents like these, staying indoors is always the best option.  However, for our kababayans who are seeking refuge in our partner establishments, we are providing free unlimited Internet services for them to inform their loved ones of their safety or their current condition should they need assistance,” said Janis Racpan, Globe Director for WiFi Business Group.

Globe urges everyone to exercise proper safety measures and to remain indoors to avoid harmful effects of the ashfall which has spread to neighboring provinces of Taal including Metro Manila.
