MANILA, Philippines 鈥� The Philippine government has denounced the second attack on an airport in Saudi Arabia as it called for patience and restraint amid the prevailing tension in the Gulf region.
鈥淭he Philippine government condemns the second attack on Saudi Arabia鈥檚 Abha International Airport on 23 June 2019,鈥� the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) said in a statement on Monday night.
鈥淭he Philippine government hopes for the speedy recovery of those injured and expresses its sympathy to the family of the single fatality during the attack,鈥� it added.
The second attack on the Abha International Airport by Iranian-allied Yemeni rebels, left one dead and seven others injured, the Associated Press earlier reported quoting Saudi military.
