MANILA, Philippines 鈥� The diplomatic protest filed against China over the reported surge of Chinese maritime militia vessels gathered around Pag-Asa Island in the South China Sea will not be made public, Foreign Affairs Secretary Teodoro Locsin Jr. said.
In a response to a Twitter user on Tuesday, the country鈥檚 top diplomat said there is 鈥渘o way鈥� the diplomatic protest will be made public.
A netizen had asked Locsin: Is there a chance that the diplomatic protest be made public?

Earlier, Presidential Spokesperson Salvador Panelo said the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) will file a note verbale, or a diplomatic note, against China.
