Solon: Rights issue a ‘lost cause’

The election of the Philippines to the UN Human Rights Council (UNHRC) should be a green light for a more intensified drug war by the Duterte administration, Camarines Sur Rep. Luis Raymond “LRay” Villafuerte said on Tuesday.

“This incessant bellyaching about supposed human rights concerns has become a lost cause for the political opposition,” Villafuerte said.
