CITY OF CALAPAN 鈥� A Korean national was reported missing by his companions after they went for a swim聽奥别诲苍别蝉诲补测听afternoon at Busay Falls in San Fernando town in Romblon province.
Senior Inspector Ledilyn Ambonan, information officer of Romblon police, cited a report that Jae-Uk Jung, 41, a native of Seung Nam-si Gyeonggi Province in South Korea, went to the falls with his friends in Barangay (village) Panangcalan for a swim at around聽1:30 p.m.
At around聽2 p.m., his friends noticed that Jung was no longer with them, Ambonan said. Jung鈥檚 companion Kyung Rae Kim, 35, immediately reported him missing to the police station.
Police launched a search and rescue operation in coordination with the local Municipal Disaster Risk and Reduction Management Office but Jung remained missing as of聽Wednesday聽evening. 聽SFM
