Nearly 200 foreigners were stopped early Friday at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (Naia) from leaving for Saudi Arabia due to dubious documents.

The foreigners, including 177 Indonesians and at least 10 Malaysians, were purportedly using Philippine passports.

A source from the Bureau of Immigration said that the foreigners were intercepted by the anti-human trafficking task force at around 3:30 am, Friday, before they got on a Philippine Airlines flight for Saudi Arabia.
