SAN FRANCISCO—A Filipino American actress is moving on up to prime time, joining the cast of The CW’S The Vampire Diaries.
Leslie-Anne Huff will play Rayna, a vampire hunter who returns to the world of the living to exact vengeance on her enemies. The Vampire Diaries airs Thursdays at 8 p.m. Eastern on The CW Network.
Huff was born and raised in the to an American father of descent and a mother.
She attended the University of California, Berkeley and became active with the Filipino community, co-producing the yearly Pilipino Cultural Night show on campus. She was also an intern with the now-defunct Filipinas Magazine based in San Francisco.
Huff’s career began in 2006 with a role in the television series . She has made guest appearances in several television series, including roles in , , , , and .
