The takes place on Saturday, December 12, a memorable evening of lights, music, games and a celebration of the Filipino community.
2015 Parol-Marking Workshops
Fridays, October 23-December 4, | 5:30-8 p.m.
(no workshop on Friday, November 27, 2015)

FREE workshop and first lantern. Other lantern materials cost $6-7.
Parol-making materials
Article continues after this advertisementFor those making a parol for the first time, there’s no charge to make the first parol. Additional parol kits are available for purchase; it’s $6 for 12-inch parols and $7 for 18-inch parols.
Parol kits include everything that’s needed to get started building a star lantern: bamboo sticks, twist ties, rubber bands, tissue paper and cellophane. Available colors for cellophane are pink, red, orange, yellow, green, blue and white.
Those who have participated before are requested to re-use parol frames from previous years.
