Ginebra aims for equalizer

/ 08:34 AM May 08, 2011

THE BARANGAY Ginebra Kings will try to prove once more that they’re the league’s never-say-die team as they look to equalize against the Talk N Text ‘Tropang Texters in today’s Game 6 of the 36th PBA Commissioner’s Cup Finals at the Araneta Coliseum.

Balloons and confetti didn’t drop last Friday night as the Kings staved off elimination by downing the Texters in Game 5, 100-93, that cut their series deficit, 2-3.

The win gave the Kings some sort of momentum and another win today will definitely boost their morale further.

“We only had four fastbreak points. Namasyal yata sa Luneta ang mga players ko,” said Reyes. “Hopefully, we’re able to recover and come back with better effort. We’re a mediocre team kung maglalarong walang effort and energy.”
