Roxas attends Brunei sultan鈥檚 birthday bash
Interior Secretary Mar Roxas attended the birthday party of Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah of Brunei on Saturday as a personal friend of the monarch, Roxas’ office said.
Moreover, Roxas is considered by the sultan as one of the leaders of government, his office added.
It could not be ascertained if Roxas and Bolkiah talked about the upcoming 2016 presidential election.
Roxas is the standard-bearer of the administration coalition and was formally endorsed by President Aquino on July 31.
