LOOK: Crosses, coffins being prepared for Veloso, other death-row convicts

As the date of execution loomed for Filipina Mary Jane Veloso and eight other drug convicts on Indonesia’s death row, that government has begun preparations for their execution and burial.

In an article published by Indonesian news network, Jawa Poss National Network, crosses and caskets intended for the drug convicts were shown.

The article said that the crosses were for Veloso, Australian citizens Andrew Chan and Myuran Sukumaran, Brazilian drug convict Rodrigo Gularte and Nigerians Okwudili Oyatanze and Sylvester Obiekwe.

The date indicated on the crosses was “April 29, 2015.”
