NEW YORK CITY — Filipino-American teen thrill-seeker Justin Casquejo, who in March sneaked past security personnel to climb atop One World Trade Center in Manhattan, is in trouble again only two weeks after completing the sentence for his first offense.

Casquejo, 16, allegedly attempted to climb the historic Weehawken Water Tower on Park Avenue and 41st Street in his hometown of Weehawken, New Jersey.

Casquejo, caught on video while more than 175 feet up in the tower on September 17, was charged with defiant trespassing and resisting arrest.

FEATURED STORIES

On September 3, Manhattan Criminal Court Judge Felicia Mennin forgave Casquejo without any jail time for his World Trade Center escapade.

He completed his sentence of 23 days of community service, two counseling sessions and a 1,200-word essay on the dangers of thrill-seeking. The latest incident could be a violation of his probation.
