Filipino teacher in US in hot water for saying 鈥楴鈥� word

MANILA, Philippines—A Filipino teacher in the United States has been placed under administrative leave after she allegedly used a racial slur in her classroom.
According to a report by the , the teacher identified as Bernadette Yuson, a math teacher at the Cajon High School, used inappropriate language to refer to her African-American students during her class.
The report said Yuson was rearranging the students’ seats when an African-American student asked why she was separating the black students.
“How come you’re moving all the black people around?’” the student asked.
Yuson allegedly replied saying, “Because I want to move all the n—–.”

Article continues after this advertisement“Go ahead and tell them,’” Yuson reportedly said the student. “‘I’ve got a lawyer and pay him every month,” she added.
Reports said the school administration after an investigation placed the teacher under administrative leave.
