Emilbert de Leon, a nursing assistant from Daly City, California, won the $45,000 grand prize on Wheel of Fortune on March 19 by correctly answering 鈥渘ew baby buggy鈥� based only on two revealed letters.
De Leon鈥檚 lucky guess was so startling that show host, Pat Sajak ,jokingly patted him down in 鈥渟earch鈥� of a hidden device.
The San Francisco State University mathematics graduate through several auditions to appear on the show.
